Welcome to Rivkah Ministries!
Let us tell you about our unique ministry:
There is a beautiful and prophetic story written in the twenty-fourth chapter of the Book of Genesis. This account tells of the desires of an elderly nobleman named Abraham. He commissioned his most trusted and loyal servant (Eliezer) with the dubious task of traveling into a distant land to find and bring back a young maiden from among Abraham’s relatives that she may become the bride of his beloved son Isaac.
Uncertain of this challenging task Eliezer wisely decided to seek out the assistance of Abraham’s God. Eliezer asked of God to select the proper maiden by placing within her heart the willingness to respond to his request for water. The first young woman that Eliezer encountered at the well of water turned out to be Rebekah (Rivkah –is her Hebrew name.) According to Abraham's command, Rebekah “happens to be” a young relative of Abraham. Much to Eliezer’s surprise, this young maiden enthusiastically and wholeheartedly responded to his request.
Rivkah Ministries, recognizes that Rebekah is a type of the Church and that Isaac is a type of Jesus Christ, the Master’s Son. Unknowingly, Rebekah was chosen by Eliezer to become Isaac’s bride. She was unaware that her diligent responsiveness to Eliezer (whose name means “the comforter”) distinguished her so that she could become the bride for Isaac.
There are six gentile brides identified in the Old Testament; all six of these brides point to the seventh gentile bride (the Bride of Christ)! Take time to read the amazing Bible Study on this site entitled, "Seven Gentile Brides." It is no coincidence that our motto is, "let her (Rivkah) be thy master's son's wife!" (Gen 24:51)
Rivkah Ministries recognizes that one of the principal mission fields in Christianity is located right in the seat of the Church itself! There are countless Christians who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior; but, as yet have not learned the joy of true discipleship nor the “stir(ring) up the gift of God” (2 Tim 1:6).
Rivkah Ministries mission is to help “stir up the gift of God” in those whom He has chosen to become part of the Bride of Jesus Christ. We intend to stir up the "gift of God" by presenting vital and important information to the Body of Christ! We will help our brethren through spirit-filled literature, electronic media and inspired public gatherings. Through these efforts, and with the assistance of the Holy Spirit of God, we will train disciples so that they can occupy enemy territory “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, "Occupy till I come” (Luke 19:13). We are are part of the great worldwide restoration process which is preparing a special people unto their God: “lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28).
Rivkah Ministries does not seek to dislocate any Christians from their local home churches! On the contrary, we aspire to “stir up” the “gift” of the Holy Spirit within these individuals that they themselves may become an unction of fresh anointing unto their own local churches.
Like Abraham's servant Eliezer who conveyed the bride of Isaac from Babylon, we will work with and through the Holy Spirit to enlighten Christians about the gifts from the Father that the Holy Spirit has for the bride. Our expectation is that these newly inspired Christians will become a blessing in their home churches! Like Rebekah’s vessel which watered the camels, we anticipate that the Holy Spirit's “living waters” will flow through and out of the Christian as it is written: “…out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38).
Our primary objective is to help the Bride of Christ along her journey! We who make-up Rivkah Ministries realize that in the same fashion as Rebekah (whom we have selected as our name-sake), our responsibility is to lend our hands speedily and cheerfully in the task of watering the camels. Secondly, we are to mount-up for the journey and take advantage of the gifts (representative of the nine camels) prepared for us. We do not expect that we are to physically go out and find ten thirsty desert creatures, water them and climb up on their backs in anticipation of a journey neither do we seek a reward in this life. Rather, we simply desire to share with our fellow Christians who thirst what God has already given to us. We are also prepared to water the camels, “whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward” (Mark 9:41).
The work of Rivkah Ministries is to influence humanity, in particularly those whom God brings to us. We intend through teaching and our influence through the Holy Spirit to help these individuals to ripen as fruit ready for a harvest. The word “influence” literally means to “flow in.” The word suggests something much like a tributary water supply which flows into a much larger river. We place our confidence in the massive everlasting in-flow from Jesus Christ that we ourselves receive through the Holy Spirit of God.
You may feel the Holy Spirit moving within you and influencing you to join the in-flow of Rivkah Ministries. You can help Rivkah Ministries immediately by calling upon the Father regarding this overflowing work of His. As you go on your knees before the Almighty Father, “pray . . . therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2). For we know that one-day He will say to us, “The wedding is ready!” (Matt 22:8). You can also help us financially by partnering with our ministry; we keep our partners in prayer and believe that they are greatly blessed in every way by the Master!
In these pages you will be presented with written and/or audio Bible Studies (which appear on the Archives pages).
Welcome to our ministry; our prayer and belief is that God will greatly bless all of the time that you spent with us. Our heart's desire is that we may refresh your thirst for the things of the Lord in the same way that Rebekah refreshed Eliezer on his mission!
